Alpharetta rolls out digital-first campaign to support company expansion and relocation

Alpharetta, Georgia – Alpharetta has started a new marketing campaign for economic development to make the city more appealing to businesses and skilled workers. The project, named Connected Alpharetta, is meant to help the city reach its long-term goal of bringing in new businesses and helping existing ones grow in the neighborhood.

The City of Alpharetta’s Economic Development Department is in charge of the promotion, which builds on the city’s reputation as Georgia’s Connected City. Officials want to show off Alpharetta’s mix of small-town charm and modern commercial appeal, as well as its proximity to markets in the region and around the world. City authorities said the project shows that Alpharetta is a city that values new ideas, has a strong workforce, and has a competitive office environment.

Connected Alpharetta has a new look, with a logo and graphic elements that work together, as well as a single message for economic development outreach. The branding is aimed to give a clear and consistent picture of what the city has to offer, from quality of life and community connections to technology-driven growth and access to markets across Metro Atlanta and beyond.

The initiative is being launched through several communication channels, starting with a newly branded website, ConnectedAlpharetta.com. The city has also set up accounts on major social media sites including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X to share content with corporate leaders and decision-makers. A Community Guide brochure and a monthly magazine are also part of the rollout. They give businesses, site pickers, and commercial real estate professionals information that is specific to their needs.

City officials said that a big part of the marketing plan is using digital storytelling and targeted messaging to get the word out about Alpharetta’s competitive advantages. The city wants to send a clearer message to people who are thinking about moving or expanding by integrating branding, content, and distribution.

“Our City Council has prioritized marketing Alpharetta more comprehensively to showcase why we are such a desirable city to do business in,” said Mayor Jim Gilvin. “The Connected Alpharetta initiative puts that priority into action and better positions our community to compete for investment, talent, and opportunity.”

Economic Development Director Charlie Jewell added that the campaign is intended to clearly communicate why Alpharetta stands out as a place where companies can grow and talent can succeed.

Additional details about the Connected Alpharetta initiative are available through the city’s new economic development website.
