Fulton County, Georgia – A Sunday afternoon in Buckhead will mix adoptable dogs, coffee and a little extra incentive for people who stop by. Fulton County Commissioner for District 3 Dana Barrett is inviting the community to “Fall for a Fur-ever Friend,” where three visitors will leave with gift baskets packed for pets and their humans.
And adoption is not required to enter. In fact, visitors do not even need to own a dog to participate in the giveaway.
The event is scheduled for Sunday, October 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fetch Park Buckhead, 309 Buckhead Ave. NE. Admission to Fetch Park Buckhead is free for humans.

Visitors will have an opportunity to spend time with adoptable dogs from Fulton County Animal Services, grab a coffee and stop at the adoption table to enter the giveaway.
Barrett said three gift baskets will be awarded. Each includes practical pet supplies such as a dog bed, bowls, a leash and walking pack, toys, treats, waste bags and a dispenser.

The baskets also come with something less ordinary: one pet-tech device.
One basket includes a Tractive GPS tracker with six months of service. The device can show a dog’s location in real time and alert an owner if the pet leaves a designated safe area.
Another includes a PETLIBRO Granary Wi-Fi smart feeder, which allows owners to schedule meals and control portions from a phone while away from home.

The third features a eufy indoor pet camera with 2K video, two-way audio and the ability to follow a pet’s movement around the room.
Winners are expected to be drawn at 2 p.m. Those who remain at the event for the drawing will be able to choose their preferred available basket. Staying until the end, however, is not required. According to the event information, people who leave before the drawing can still win, and their basket can be delivered to them.

The giveaway adds another reason to visit, but the afternoon also puts Fulton County’s adoptable animals in front of potential families in a relaxed community setting.
For visitors who are not ready to adopt, the invitation is still open: stop by, meet the dogs and enter the drawing before the afternoon wraps up.
