Fulton County encourages early voting participation to shape Georgia’s Public Service Commission

Fulton County, Georgia – The list of places where people can vote early for the forthcoming Public Service Commissioner Primary Runoff Election on July 15 has been made public by Fulton County officials. From Monday, July 7, to Friday, July 11, voters who want to make their thoughts heard before election day will be able to vote early. County officials advise people to take advantage of the longer hours at each polling place so they don’t have to wait in big lines on election day.

To make early voting accessible for residents across the county, Fulton has designated four polling locations where ballots can be cast during the advance voting period. The Customer Service Center at 11575 Maxwell Road in Alpharetta is one of these places where you can vote in person. The Mechanicsville Library at 400 Formwalt Street SW in Atlanta will also be an important location. It will provide an absentee ballot drop box for voters who want to return their ballots without going to a polling place.

The North Fulton Service Center, located at 7741 Roswell Road NE in Atlanta, will offer both early voting and an election office where people may safely send off their absentee ballots for people who live in the northern section of the county. In the meanwhile, voters in the south will be able to go to the South Fulton Service Center at 5600 Stonewall Tell Road in South Fulton, which also has an election office where they may drop off their absentee ballots.

All early voting sites will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day, so voters can go to any of them. County election officials highlighted that having the same hours every day of the week makes it easier for those with different work or family schedules to vote, which lets more people take part in the democratic process.

Voters can vote in person or fill out their absentee ballots and drop them off at any of the specified drop box sites during the early voting period. Officials inform voters that these drop boxes are monitored to make sure the election process is fair and safe.
