Fulton County opens 2026 arts funding applications for local creatives and nonprofits

Fulton County, Georgia – Fulton County has begun the application period for its 2026 Contracts for Services program. This program gives money to artists and organizations who put on arts and cultural events across the county. Fulton County Arts & Culture manages the money, which comes from annual appropriations approved by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners.

The initiative is meant to help projects that make the arts more accessible and show the cultural diversity of Fulton County. Awards will be given out as project-based support and will range from $1,000 to $50,000. Artists, nonprofit arts organizations, cultural institutions, colleges and universities, schools, towns, and community-based nonprofit groups based in Fulton County can all apply.

County officials believe the program is very important for keeping the local creative economy going and making sure that people in all communities may take part in meaningful arts activities.

David Manuel, the Arts & Culture Director, said that the program can develop and prosper because county leaders continue to support it. This helps the creative industry and gives artists and nonprofits the tools they need to grow and succeed.

“With the continued support of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, the Arts Council, and our dedicated CFS staff, we are able to strengthen our creative community and expand access to meaningful arts experiences,” said Arts & Culture Director David Manuel. “This program allows us to equip artists and nonprofit organizations with the tools they need to succeed while celebrating the cultural richness that defines Fulton County.”

The county’s WebGrants system must receive applications for the 2026 funding cycle by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2026. The projects that get money from this round must happen between January 1 and December 31, 2026.

Fulton County Arts & Culture wants people who are applying for the first time to attend a virtual workshop or talk to program officials before they apply. The goal of these workshops is to help candidates learn about the standards for eligibility, the priorities for funding, and how to apply. For people who can’t attend live events, recorded webinars will be available online.
