National Voter Registration Day highlights importance of readiness ahead of November elections

Fulton County, Georgia – Fulton County is getting ready for National Voter Registration Day on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, with a full day of events to get people involved in their communities. The county’s Voter Education and Outreach team will be going around the area to get people to register to vote and remind them of what they need to do before they go to the polls.

The event is happening at a very important time, since the Public Service Commission, general municipal, and special elections are all set for November 4, 2025. The goal of National Voter Registration Day is to get people throughout the country registered in time to vote. Fulton County authorities are underlining how important it is for everyone who can vote to be ready to do so.

Throughout the day, outreach staff will be at several community centers. Some of the stops are Therrell High School, the C.T. Martin Natatorium and Recreation Center, and the Atlantic Station Tower in Atlanta. The squad will also go to Atlanta Technical College, Cambridge High School in Milton, and Centennial High School in Roswell. Maynard Jackson High School, Capital View Apartments, and important MARTA stations like Hamilton E. Holmes, North Springs, and College Park are all nearby. People who live at Overture Buckhead South in Atlanta will also be able to talk to outreach professionals.
