Salesforce deepens its Atlanta presence with 250 new jobs as the city remains central to the company’s long-term strategy

Atlanta, Georgia – Governor Brian P. Kemp announced a new milestone for Georgia’s digital sector: Salesforce will invest $15 million to expand its operations in the state, creating more than 250 new jobs in Fulton County by the end of 2028. The measure makes Georgia even more attractive to big tech businesses and maintains a trend of state authorities encouraging economic growth.

Kemp said that the expansion shows how Georgia’s long-term focus on keeping the state business-friendly has paid off. He said that companies keep choosing to grow in Georgia because of the state’s efforts in developing people and its commitment to new ideas. Salesforce’s most recent decision shows that they trust a state that is always one of the best places in the country for corporate growth and technology advancement.

Salesforce is known around the world for its cloud-based solutions and AI-powered Customer Relationship Management software. The company already has thousands of employees in the state. The organization works in a lot of different fields in Georgia, including healthcare, financial services, retail, manufacturing, logistics, and the public sector. “Atlanta offers diverse talent, global connectivity through Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and a welcoming community that companies like Salesforce need to expand and thrive,” said Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens. “We appreciate Salesforce for its continued investment and look forward to the opportunities this expansion will create for our residents and local economy.”

Fulton County Board of Commissioners Chairman Robb Pitts echoed those sentiments, calling the expansion a significant win for the county. Pitts said that the decision boosts faith in the area’s economic potential and makes it easier for the region to attract high-quality jobs.
