Alpharetta, Georgia – The Webb Bridge Dog Park is the latest recreational treasure that the City of Alpharetta unveiled with a tail-wagging celebration on Sunday, May 5. The dog park, which Tim and Michele Mulroy, together with their rescue Golden Retriever Pebbles, created, is made possible by a kind grant from the Mulroy Family Foundation. This most recent development at Webb Bridge Park Complex promises a sanctuary where owners may take in the surrounding natural environment while their animal pals play freely.
Nicely situated close to the first parking lot at the park entrance, with views of the lower soccer fields, the Webb Bridge Dog Park has areas designed for dogs of any breed. Hardwood mulch floors highlight its rustic appeal and go well with the many trees that offer shade and a calm atmosphere. Near the main entrance to the off-leash dog park, there is a large silhouette of a dog where owners can place memorial tags for dogs who have crossed over the rainbow bridge, serving as a way to share and preserve their memory.
The recently refurbished Waggy World Dog Park in Alpharetta, which was founded at Wills Park in 2006, is joined by the new Webb Bridge Dog Park. Together, they stand for Alpharetta’s dedication to offer dog owners and their canines fun, safe areas to mingle and make new friends.
The 2020-founded Mulroy Family Foundation seeks to provide financial support for projects that enhance the environment, kids, healthcare, and animals in the community. Their commitment to improving Alpharetta’s outdoor areas and improving the lives of the four-legged citizens is demonstrated by their participation in the construction of the Webb Bridge Dog Park.
