The annual Taste of Alpharetta event set to take place on Thursday, May 9

Alpharetta, Georgia – Get ready to indulge – the Taste of Alpharetta is right around the corner! City’s biggest, most delicious annual event will flood the streets of Downtown Alpharetta on Thursday, May 9.

Due to the influx of fantastic eateries, live music, and a bustling crowd of around 40,000 visitors, several Downtown Alpharetta streets will be entirely off-limits for vehicles. This includes the shutdown of State Route 9, stretching between Old Milton Parkway and Milton Avenue/Academy Street, from 10:00 AM on Thursday until 1:00 AM on Friday.

Drivers not headed to the Taste of Alpharetta should opt for alternate routes like Westside Parkway, North Point Parkway, and GA400 to steer clear of the area. Travelers passing through Downtown Alpharetta on Thursday should brace themselves for significant traffic delays.
