A mother from Georgia is in disbelief and wants to discover what happened to her son last week in school after she discovered that her son’s arm was dislocated as soon as she took the child home. The elementary school student, who is a child with special needs and wheelchair-bound, has his hand wrapped in bandages because it’s dislocated.
The mother, Jamea McGee, decided to publicly speak about this and confirmed that the police are now looking into the case to discover if something happened while her son was at school. Jamea McGee feels very upset and helpless for her 8-year-old son.
Speaking to Channel 2, McGee revealed that she has a reason to believe that somebody intentionally hurt her son as she found that the boy’s arm was dislocated in two different spots. Injuries McGee says she discovered after picking her son up from school last week.
“I personally have the teacher’s phone number when I reached out to him. He inquired that the chair he sits in could have done that to him,” McGee said.
Mcgee’s son is an eight-year-old student with special needs at Hendricks Elementary School in Austell. He has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair to get around. Since the eight-year-old boy spends most of his time in the wheelchair every single day, the mother finds it hard to believe that the chair could have done that to him. According to her, the boy never sustained any injuries in the past.
The mother had no options left but to take the boy to the hospital for treatment. His hand was wrapped in bandages, and he has to undergo X-rays again after several days. The reason is that doctors were not able to snap the hand in place even though the young boy was sedated as a result of the pain he was suffering.
The local police department is now investigating the school for alleged child abuse. The mother decided to speak publicly as she is broken in pain and wants to learn what really happened to her son. As of now, the boy won’t return to school because she doesn’t feel her son is safe there, as he is also unable to defend himself.
