Atlanta’s young leaders to gain insights from industry icons at FACE the Icons at a February 19 event

Fulton County, Georgia – Fulton County is planning a special event, FACE the Icons: “A Gentleman’s Discussion: Navigating What’s Next” in an attempt to inspire and engage Atlanta’s young people. Aimed primarily at young men between the ages of 18 and 24, this panel discussion will take place on Wednesday, February 19, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Georgia Power Company Auditorium, situated at 241 Ralph McGill Blvd NE, Atlanta, GA 30308.

Part of the county’s larger FACE 2025 Experience project, the event aims to use artistic cultural influence to shape tomorrow’s leaders.

“Fulton County recognizes the critical role the arts play, not just in enriching our culture but in shaping the future of our younger generation,” said David Manuel, Director of Fulton County Arts & Culture. “We are honored to collaborate with a diverse group of distinguished leaders in the creative arts community—individuals whose expertise spans performance, business, government, and fashion—to help inspire and guide the next generation.”

Organized by the well-known Radio & TV Personality Frank Ski, the event will have a panel including hip-hop artist Young Dro, fashionista Randy Davidson, rapper T.I., and community activist Samir Abdullahi. These panelists will discuss their paths and perspectives on a range of subjects important to young people today, including practical life skills, personal growth, and career advice in the creative industries.

Essential issues including productivity, financial literacy (“Getting the Green”), professional presentation (“How to Show Up”), personal relationships and dating, conflict navigating, and overcoming fear (“No Fear”) will be discussed. This method emphasizes not only the pragmatic features of adulthood but also the mental and emotional readiness required for dealing with different life challenges.

To further add to the evening’s participatory character, the event will include live music, a mini fashion show, and drinks, so generating a lively environment fit for learning and involvement. These components should make FACE the Icons not only a learning opportunity but also an unforgettable cultural event.

In keeping with Fulton County’s dedication to accessibility, transportation will be offered to guarantee that every guest may easily reach the site. The evening is structured to begin promptly with food served at 6 p.m., allowing attendees to mingle and settle in before the panel discussions commence.
